Equality California Institute’s LGBTQ+ 101 course is designed to empower providers to provide respectful and culturally sensitive care and services to their LGBTQ+ population. Our curriculum includes core LGBTQ+ terminology, data on issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community, the significance of an intersectional approach, and strategies to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ people, among other relevant topics. We’ve developed an engaging, interactive training model, and we want everyone to become comfortable with and conversant in LGBTQ+ concepts and terminology.
